Taking a look through my posts, the last time I did an empties was way back in October 2016. It’s definitely about time I get myself into gear and finally throw some things out. Today’s post is my Beauty Product Empties March 2017.
COVERGIRL TRUBLEND FOUNDATION IN M6 – Repurchased
I’ve been using this foundation for years on end. It’s one of my favourite foundations of all time. If you’re someone with combo or oily skin and you’re after a medium coverage foundation that isn’t matte, check this one out. There’s a really good shade selection and you can easily pick this one up at Priceline.
NUDE BY NATURE FINISHING VEIL – Repurchased
Another product that I’ve used for so many years. It’s such an incredible setting powder that I can keep relayering throughout the day. It’s never made me cakey and it’s very accessible. Not enough people talk about this product and I still don’t understand why.
KOSMEA CERTIFIED ORGANIC ROSE HIP OIL* – I will 100% repurchase this
Last year, I wrote a whole post on the Kosmea Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil which you can read here. That post follows my one month journey with the product and incredible results. Of course, I’m going to repurchase this oil! The results speak for themselves.
GARNIER CLEAN SENSITIVE 2 IN 1 GENTLE MAKEUP REMOVER – Repurchased
I’ve had too many bottles of this stuff to count. Although I’m now in love with cleansing oils, this waterproof makeup remover is still a favourite of mine. It’s very gentle on my lashes and still removes all of my waterproof mascara. I’ll continue repurchasing this until the end of time.
LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR DUO* – Repurchased
This is such a fantastic spot treatment or moisturiser, depending on how you’d use it. I personally loved this as a moisturiser under my makeup. I’ve actually almost finished another one. It keeps my spots at bay and is a really nice lightweight, not oily moisturiser base.
ALPHAH LIQUID GOLD* – I want to repurchase, but $$$
AlphaH Liquid Gold truly does work. It’s a magical product that I loved using as soon as I noticed any big flare ups on my face. I used this product and overnight, the pimples would have shrunk and flattened out. I desperately want to pick this up again, but I’m watching my budget. Maybe at the end of this month!
LA ROCHE-POSAY ZEROSINC – I have repurchased in the past. Now, not sure.
Zerosinc works like a facial spritz and toner. I loved using this after washing my face and then lathering on a serum or moisturiser. I think it’s a great product. But, I just haven’t really missed it that much since it’s been finished. If my skin gets drier during winter, I might consider it. At the moment, not so sure.
LUSH THE OLIVE BRANCH SHOWER GEL – Will repurchase very soon
Without a doubt, this is my favourite shower gel of all time. It’s very thin, but lathers extremely well and is a mix between sweet and herby. It was an absolute life saver when I had very sensitive skin and bacne / chestne. I can’t recommend this enough!
KLORANE SHAMPOO WITH NETTLE – Will repurchase
Nettle sounds like an ingredient that’s quite foreign or daunting. But, wow this stuff works well. I’ve got a very oily scalp and this product genuinely helped my hair routine so much. I didn’t have to wash my hair every day for the first time in years. It really helped clean my hair without stripping too much away.
EL8TE ROSEMARY NOURISH & SHINE SHAMPOO IN CITRUS – Won’t repurchase
Don’t get me wrong! I really did like this shampoo. I feel like the smell was incredible and it left my hair feeling great too. I just don’t think that it was anything too special that I would go out of my way to get again.
S.FACTOR TIGI DIAMOND DREAMS CONDITIONER – Won’t repurchase
This conditioner smells INCREDIBLE. I really enjoyed the formula but I don’t think the packaging was all that ideal. It was really hard to squeeze the product out of. Again, I also think that there was anything that different about this product that would make me repurchase it.
DOVE HAIR THERAPY INTENSIVE REPAIR SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER* -Will repurchase
Good old Dove! I feel like their hair products aren’t as spoken about now as they used to be. With so many fancy brands becoming more and more accessible, I feel like Dove hair products aren’t spoken about as much as they used to be. These two products smelt incredible, washed my hair great and the conditioner wasn’t too heavy, but still very moisturising. Honestly, what more could you want!?
CHARLES WORTHINGTON SALT SPRAY* Will repurchase
This is my second bottle of this stuff. I love it so, so much. I have a comparison post which you can see here. It doesn’t make my hair feel sticky or knotty, but it really gives volume and nice beachy vibes.
DAISO DETERGENT FOR PUFF AND SPONGE – Repurchased
Honestly, if you haven’t tried this product to clean your brushes or makeup sponges, where have you been? This product is so damn cheap, $2.80 I believe. Yes, it’s a small bottle and I go through it fairly quickly. But, it works so damn well! I can’t believe I just used anti-bacterial soap before this stuff. You have to try it!
NIVEA ANTIPERSPIRANT INVISIBLE FOR BLACK AND WHITE – Repurchased
If you’ve been reading my blog for quite a while, you’d know that this stuff is in my empties every single time. It’s the best deodorant that I’ve tried so far and I usually pick it up on sale. There’s something about this stuff that just works so damn well.
DOVE ORIGINAL DEODORANT – Will not repurchase
I really, really wanted to love this deodorant. In a way, I actually do. I find that the smell and the way that this product leaves my underarms feeling is actually far superior to the Nivea one. However, I don’t think that it works as well.
Have you tried any of these products before?
When was the last time you did a huge beauty product throw out?
