It’s not common to tell people that someone that you went to high school with has started their own makeup brand. Well, today I’m pretty excited because that’s what I’m about to do! This post is going to be An Introduction to Kayary Kosmetix, which is the creation of one hard working chicka that I know.
Kayary Kosmetix is Melbourne owned and operated. Their makeup brand is focused on creating luxurious makeup products, that look hella expensive, but are super affordable. At this stage, they sell lipsticks and liquid lipsticks. But, they seem to be very quick on the trend bandwagon. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if they come out with some other products in the near future.
Of course, I have to start off by talking about the packaging! The lipstick packaging boxes themselves are every marble obsessed person’s dream. After opening up the box, the beauty continues. The design of the lipsticks is quite textured and interesting, but the colours used on the packaging are quite minimalistic.
When it comes to the formulas of all of the products in this post, they all provide a matte or metallic matte finish. But, don’t be fooled because they’re all prettty comfortable to wear. In case you’re curious, all of the swatches were done in one layer which I think is enough for the majority of the shades. But, if you wanted complete opacity with the metallic mattes, I would suggest two layers.
Caribbean Queen | Little Red | Harajuku Barbie | Smiley Miley | Conchita
Here’s also their lipstick in Queen B which I accidentally left out of the overall swatches – oopsies! It’s a lovely bright, orangey, brown matte shade.
Casanova | Espionage | Renaissance | Ethereal | Scintilla | Luminous | Elixir
I own quite a few different liquid lipsticks now and I feel pretty confident in saying that these stay on my lips for the longest. You DEFINITELY need to use a waterproof makeup remover for these babies. They’re not the creamiest and most comfortable out of my collection. But, that’s just the pay off you have to weight up. For example, if you want something more comfortable and mousse like, the pigmentation and longevity will probably not be as long. Anyway, I’m planning on doing a comparison post with some others that I own so let me know if you’re keen to see this!If you’d like to purchase anything from
