My Top 5 From Bobbi Brown

Up until this year, Bobbi Brown was a distant brand to me. I honestly have no idea why because I’ve been lusting over their packaging for what seems like forever. I’m so happy to finally say that I’ve found my love for Bobbi Brown.

In today’s post, I’ll be sharing My Top 5 From Bobbi Brown. I’m planning on turning ‘my top 5’ into a series so let me know if you’re interested!

#1 – Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Natural (Pale Yellow)* has been an absolute essential of mine the past couple of months. Featured in my September favourites here, you guys would know that my skin has been extra problematic lately due to work trials and having my wisdom teeth taken out. My normal foundation routine just wasn’t cutting it and I needed something extra. Their Creamy Concealer was exactly what I needed. The formula covers up what I want and it melts into my skin beautifully, so it isn’t obvious that I’ve worn concealer.

#2 – Bobbi Brown Blush in Berry is something I’ve owned for a few years. It was an impulse purchase when I was in a duty free and I barely touched it since taking it home. Very unsure as to why, but after falling in love with other Bobbi Brown products I decided to give it another shot. It’s a gorgeous red, purple, berry shade.

#3 – Bobbi Brown Highlighting Powder in Pink Glow* is a ridiculously pretty product, even to look at in the pan. As the shade name suggests, this is a light, pink highlighter. The highlighter flecks are quite spread so it gives you all these little individual glows, in one overall glow look. I know that sounds confusing but just think of it as a more natural glow in little bursts rather than one highlighted on fleek line. I love using this on the top of my cheeks when I wear a pink, mauve eye look.

#4 – Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil*  is the only oil cleanser that I enjoy using. Having oily skin, it does sound weird to use oil to remove your makeup and I was of course sceptical. When I tried this in store, I knew I had to have it! The scent is lightly herbal and fresh and even though it’s oily, it isn’t over the top. You know it’s an oil, but it cleans well, you wash it off and it’s gone. There’s no weird oily residue that you have to make a huge effort to get rid of and my skin hasn’t broken out since using it.

#5 – Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream* is a product that I have heard of and wanted to try for the longest time. I now understand the hype. Even though I’m not much of an under eye cream user, this stuff is just so luxurious. It feels thick, but melts in and it has a little cooling sensation. I love to apply it before bed and when I wake up my whole eye area feels very refreshed. It is a fairly expensive product but I use the smallest amount and I’m sure it’ll last a long time.

  • That cleansing oil sounds all sorts of amazing. I don’t use anything else but oils to remove my makeup now, I think my skin is going to thank me years later as I’m not tugging at my eyes to remove makeup anymore! Also, that eyecream sounds just as lovely, I’ve heard good things about it.
