Chi Chi Cosmetics Brow Pomade Review

Brow pomades are the definition of all the rage. They have really taken off the last couple of years. But, I never really jumped on the bandwagon, until now. Today’s post is my Chi Chi Cosmetics Brow Pomade Review*.

WHAT IS A BROW POMADE?

If you’re new to the idea of Brow Pomades, here’s the low down. The product is a little jar of brow goodness. It’s a thick, solid creamy consistency, sort of like a brow gel, but way more pigmented. Most brow pomades come in a variety of brow shades.

WHERE TO BUY + MY SHADE

I recently popped into my local Target, and found this gem on sale for just over $10AUD. Honestly, I couldn’t resist. What a great decision, because as you can see, my brows have been filled in so, so nicely. My shade is Black Brown and I think it’s perfect! There are six other shades, so hopefully there’s one for you.

APPLICATION

Application is super easy. You just dip the tip of an angled brush into the pomade, wipe off any excess on the lid. I’m sure people have different preferences on where to start with the brows, but I like to make a little line above and below my brow as a guide. I then begin to fill in from the center outwards and use the remaining product on the inner part of my brow. The first time I applied this, I definitely put on too much. But, it is forgiving. I just ran my brow spooly through my brows a couple times and all was fixed

WHEN WOULD I USE THIS PRODUCT?

For my personal taste, I think a Brow Pomade is a bit too heavy for my eyebrows during the day time unless I use a spoolie like crazy. But, if I have a special event or I’m going out at night time, this is definitely now my go to brow technique.

How do you like to do your brows?
Have you used a Brow Pomade before?
Do you have any tips so it isn’t as pigmented during the day?
