In the year of 2017, I began working full time. As a result, I’ve sadly not been as active here on the blog as I once was. I do miss it, but I find that when you’re working all day, you come home and you don’t want to keep working. The same goes for weekends, and I just crave being able to switch off. But, I told myself no matter what, I’d put together my 2017 Beauty and Skincare Favourites*, and I tell you what! It’s been fun to reflect on some of these products and write about them. It’s great to not have to write a blog post focusing solely on one brand or a new product release. These are legitimately my faves of 2017 and I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I put it together. Oh and, in 2018, watch this space because yo girl feels like she’s slowly getting her writing flare back, and she wants to come back, properly.
Believe it or not, Stila is a brand that is really new to me. The only product I’ve really tried from them is their now discontinued Stila In The Light Palette which I am still obsessed with, so it doesn’t make sense that I haven’t tried anything else! But, I have heard great things, in particular about their liquid lipsticks. I’m very excited today to share with you my review on the Stila Play It Cool Liquid Lipstick Set*, which is in fact a special product here in Australia as one of Mecca’s Christmas releases for 2017.
Every year, as soon as a few days of warm weather creep on in, I’m back on the cream and liquid makeup bandwagon. I’m obsessed with how natural they look on the skin and how seamless they work in with the rest of my makeup routine. A latest love of mine is the entire Benefit Cosmetics Cheek And Lip Stains* range. In today’s post, I’ll be covering why I love these stains, but only from a cheek perspective as I haven’t yet used them on the lips.
Without a doubt, the favourite beauty destination for Australian’s is Mecca. And, they’re about to turn a solid 20 years old. To celebrate, they’ve teamed up with quite a few brands and came up with some special products, that are dropping on October the 4th 2017. Today’s post is going to be a focus on one of these releases, the Too Faced Funfetti Birthday Palette*. Want to know more about this eyeshadow palette? Read on.
Ever since the brand 3ina landed in Australia, I was really curious. Their stores looked incredible, and even though their packaging was quite simplistic, the products themselves generally have that little something special about them that makes them intriguing. While they were still new to the market, I picked up a few nail polishes and lipsticks. But recently I was most blown away by their Cream Eyeshadow*. Read on to see my 3ina Cream Eyeshadow Review.
